Where is it best to collect the car — Vigo or Pontevedra?
It depends on how you arrive: Vigo-Peinador airport if you fly in, Guixar or Pontevedra station if you come by train. Every office gives immediate access to the AP-9, the motorway that runs the length of the Rías Baixas.
Can you drive to the Cíes Islands?
No — the Cíes can only be reached by boat, with limited places in summer. The practical option is to drive to Vigo, Cangas or Baiona, leave the car near the quay and take the ferry to the national park from there.
