Where do I collect the car if I arrive in Vitoria by coach?
There is a rental office right beside Vitoria's bus station, plus another in the city centre. You can step off the coach and pick up the vehicle without needing a taxi or transfer.
Is a car worth it just to visit Vitoria?
Not for the capital itself: the centre is pedestrianised and easily explored on foot. Hiring makes sense if you want to head out to Rioja Alavesa, the salt flats or the mountains, where public transport is almost non-existent.
