Should I pick up the car at Murcia Airport or in the city?
If you land at Corvera, collecting at the airport itself is the most direct option, as it is ~25 min from the capital and public transport is limited. If you arrive by train, the offices in Murcia city or at Cartagena station spare you transfers.
Can you drive to the Calblanque beaches in summer?
In high season, vehicle access to the park is restricted and a shuttle service runs from the park-and-ride car park. The rest of the year you can drive in on a track in an ordinary car — slowly, and with respect for the surroundings.
